It’s Wednesday which means we are halfway through the work week. In today’s forecast temperatures are a few degrees warmer and looking ahead, there’s more rain coming this weekend.

Temperatures along the coast will be similar to yesterday’s with highs in the low 70s, up to 74 degrees in Long Beach, 71 degrees for Orange County coast. The inland coast like downtown Los Angeles will see highs in the upper 70s, up to 78 degrees in downtown Los Angeles.
More inland expect warmer temperatures with highs in the 80s, up to 87 degrees in the Inland Empire and the San Fernando Valley.
The deserts are also seeing a significant warm up — highs in the low 80s for the high desert, in the low 90s for Coachella Valley.
Taking a look ahead the National Weather Service says more rain is coming our way this weekend starting Friday night. Forecast models show up to a quarter inch of rain could fall along the coast, up to two inches closer to the mountains and deserts. And Friday evening will be windy for the mountains. There’s also a chance of mountain snow in higher elevations, up to four inches.
