BTS’ Suga announced dates for his debut solo world tour and he’s coming to Kia Forum in Inglewood for three nights May 10-11 and 14.
Suga shared the news with fans on Tuesday, Feb. 14 through Weverse, a social media platform specifically for fans of BTS and other K-pop bands. The tour kicks off with a pair of nights in April at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York. The jaunt also includes May 16-17 at Oakland Arena and a few stops in Indonesia, Bangkok, Singapore and BTS’ hometown of Seoul, South Korea.
With a similar ticket rollout to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, Suga will use Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program to help fans secure tickets. Registration is open now at Ticketmaster.com through 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23. Fans who register will receive a confirmation via email with instructions on purchasing tickets and an access code.
BTS Army Membership holders will have access to the army presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan starting on Wednesday, March 1. If tickets sell out during that presale, there will not be a General Verified Fan presale for the general public. General verified fan presale (for non-fan club members) would begin Thursday, March 2, pending ticket availability. If any other tickets remain, the general sale will start at 3 p.m. Friday, March 3.
Suga is the first BTS member to hit the road solo, with two mixtapes under his alter ego, Agust D, which came out on all music platforms in 2016 and 2020. The K-pop group announced back in October that members will be ordered to military service and they’d be taking a break to pursue solo projects while other members serve. Military service is mandatory in South Korea, where almost all able-bodied men are required to serve in the army for at least 18 months by the time they turn 30.
