Miguel’s Jr. has opened in Santa Ana, the fifth restaurant in Orange County for the Corona-based chain.
The restaurant, which celebrated its grand opening on Sept. 26, takes the place of a former Burger King at 1766 East McFadden Ave. near the Santa Ana Metrorail station.

Miguel’s Jr. sells a variety of “homestyle” Mexican food for dine-in, take-out, drive-thru or even online ordering. Hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
The Santa Ana location is the 22nd restaurant for the fast-food Mexican food chain.
Boutique fitness gym opens in Irvine
Body Fit Training, a boutique fitness brand featuring 50-minute group strength training classes, opened Sept. 21 in Irvine.
The fitness franchise at 17675 Harvard Ave. in the Harvard Place shopping center is owned and operated by Max Takla.
