Norwegian producer and DJ Kygo’s Palm Tree Music Festival experience will make its debut at Doheny Stage Beach in Dana Point on May 13.
The single-day fest will bring a slice of the Palm Tree Crew’s tropical-inspired festival series to Southern California and feature performances by Kygo, Ellie Goulding, Tove Lo, The Midnight, The Knocks, Two Fest and Forester.
General admission passes go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10 with tickets starting at $169.50 at palmtreemusicfestival.com. Presale options for fans will be available starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 through 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. Citi card members will also have early access to presale tickets at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at citientertainment.com.
Palm Tree Music Festival will also have an exclusive VIP lounge and a Palm Tree Beach Club, where guests can enjoy the beachside with cabanas, hammocks and other amenities within the premiere spaces. With installments in Aspen, Australia and Bali, the event in Dana Point will officially kick off the summer circuit for the traveling festival.
Founded in 2016 by Kygo and his manager, Myles Shear, the idea for the Palm Tree Music Festival came when the pair began to gift palm tree necklaces to their squad of friends as a symbol of community.
Doheny State Beach is also the home to the three-day Eddie Vedder-curated Ohana Festival, which just announced that it would be back in Dana Point Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
