The Irvine Park Railroad’s annual pumpkin patch is a tradition for many families.
The field of pumpkins created in the heart of Irvine Regional Park is a popular backdrop for photo ops. And children can play carnival games, speed around the track on the John Deere racers, try to navigate the hay maze and ride the park’s one-third scale train.
There are a variety of family activities available, some that cost money and some that are free. Admission to the pumpkin patch is free.
The patch is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends through Oct. 31. Information: irvineparkrailroad.com.
