Goldenvoice’s inaugural three-day concert event with Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Tool and Metallica will descend upon the Empire Polo Club in Indio on Oct. 6-8.
Ahead of the epic run of shows, which are reminiscent of the festival producer’s Desert Trip — which brought together the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Who and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd for two consecutive weekends in 2016 — I caught up with a trio of powerhouse bassists to talk about the unique event.

🪕 Bringing folk rock to The Ford
Eagle Rock-based folk duo the Milk Carton Kids curated the inaugural two-day Los Angeles Folk Rock Festival, which hits The Ford Amphitheater in Los Angeles on Oct. 7-8. The event will feature artists like Waxahatchee, Sierra Ferrell, Valerie June, Willie Watson and special guests John C. Reilly and Charlie Hickey playing music and sharing stories.
