The Orange County Family Justice Center and Foundation’s annual Adopt-a-Family program is celebrating 14 years of helping those in crisis and creating better outcomes.

Also, the holidays bring an opportunity to help with the center’s holiday drive. Donate items to gift to those in need this holiday season, such as gift cards, diapers, tote bags and much more is needed.
Drop off at between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays at 150 W. Vermont Ave., in Anaheim.
We Give Thanks celebrates 37 years of giving
We Give Thanks has been feeding those in need on Thanksgiving Day for 37 years and its volunteers are ready to serve a free dinner again for the holiday this year.
The community dinner will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, Thanksgiving Day, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, 2695 E. Katella Ave. Free parking, too.

Center Street Promenade restaurateurs Kathy and Art Cervantes have been creating Christmas joy for those in need for 15 years with a community breakfast and gift giveaway on Christmas Even.
Between now and Dec. 22 they will be collecting donated toys for the event. Please bring an unwrapped donation to the K & A Cafe in the Good Food Hall on the Center Street Promenade. Then, on Dec.13 and 16 you can help wrap all the donated items.
Gifts will be distributed on Dec. 24 when the K & A Café and Cervantes Kitchen will be serving a wonderful free holiday breakfast to all in attendance.
