Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,354 more cases and 13 more deaths, Feb. 2

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,354 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,679,170 as of Thursday, Feb. 2.

Officials reported 13 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 35,308 deaths since tracking began.

There were 40 fewer hospitalizations since Wednesday, bringing the total amount of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 707.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,429,043 doses administered.
