Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,171 more cases and 21 more deaths, Feb. 9

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,171 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,685,950 as of Thursday, Feb. 9.

Officials reported 21 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 35,403 deaths since tracking began.

There were 74 fewer hospitalizations since Wednesday, bringing the total amount of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 699.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,445,145 doses administered.
