I don’t have children, but I have young nieces, nephews and cousins and I’m told those pesky little Santa tattletales can be quite burdensome this time of year.

If you’d like to keep yourselves and your kids distracted in the meantime, there’s a ton of holiday-themed events happening at Southern California theme parks.

🍪 Which Disney treats to splurge on and which ones to skip
Theme parks reporter Brady MacDonald took on the task of tasting a variety of eats and beverages from Disney’s Festival of Holidays, which runs through Sunday, Jan. 7 at Disney California Adventure.
The food is inspired by cultural traditions tied to Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Navidad and Three Kings Day. Guests can pick up Sip and Savor passes for $61 for general visitors and $56 for Magic Keyholders. The prepaid card includes eight tabs good for individual tastings at the food and beverage stands.
Brady breaks down 12 of the food items and ranks them from best to worst, starting with the Mad Santa Macaron ($7.50) which he gave an “OMG!” review. The worst, well, you’ll have to check out his list here.
You know those Disneyland candy canes that your passholder bestie raves about? They’re back this year! Can you get one? Possibly. Will it be worth it? Eh.
