The menu is the same, but the new In-N-Out Burger in San Juan Capistrano looks a little different.
The drive-thru opened today, Dec. 7 at 31791 Del Obispo St., a short walk from Mission San Juan Capistrano and the Blas Aguilar Adobe, both landmarks from the 18th century.
In keeping with its setting, the restaurant was built in a Mission Revival style that includes domes, archways and red tile. The words “IN-N-OUT BURGER” are recessed into the wall above the main entrance instead of being displayed in an illuminated sign.
In-N-Out made similar accommodations for a restaurant in San Clemente that opened a year ago.
It has indoor seating for 84 diners and a patio that can seat 28 guests, according to a news release.
It is the 399th restaurant in the 75-year-old chain, which was founded Baldwin Park in 1948 and is now based in Irvine.
Hours will be 10:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m.-1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
