The former D23 Expo has shortened its name, changed its dates and will spread its footprint beyond the Anaheim Convention Center in 2024 to include fan events at Disneyland, the Honda Center and even Angel Stadium.
D23 will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on Aug. 9-11 in 2024 for exhibits, panels, presentations and shopping tied to all things Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

D23 will host a kickoff celebration across the street at the Disneyland resort on Aug. 8.
Larger nighttime “marquee shows” will take place at the Honda Center following daytime events at the Anaheim Convention Center. The home to the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks — once owned by Disney when the team was known as the Mighty Ducks — is located about 3 miles away from the convention center on Katella Avenue.

There will even be a D23 Day at Angel Stadium the weekend before the convention expo on Aug. 4 when the New York Mets are in town to face the Angels — the other Anaheim pro sports team once owned by Disney.
D23 tickets will go on sale in spring 2024 for the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center fan events. Tickets for the Disneyland resort kickoff event and the D23 Day Angels game will require separate admission.

D23 has dropped “Expo” from its name for next year’s fan event that moves from an early September run in 2022 to early August dates in 2024.
The biennial D23 event in Anaheim alternates with the Destination D event that is held on off-years at Walt Disney World in Florida.
