San Antonio Catholic Church’s annual Fiesta, themed “Serving with Courageous Joy,” starts at 5 p.m. on Sept. 15 and continues throughout that weekend on the church campus.
Many exciting and fun activities are scheduled, including food booths, games, carnival rides and continuous live entertainment. Additionally, a silent auction full of exciting items, as well as daily Bingo games are planned.
Discount ride tickets are available and may be purchased through the church office until noon on Sept. 15.
Fiesta hours are 5 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 15; 2 to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 16; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 17.Free Shuttle service to and from the Fiesta is available for those who park in the Canyon High School student parking lot. Continuous shuttle is offered Sept. 15 and 16 from 5 to 11 p.m.

If you want additional information about the 76-acre wildlife Deer Canyon Hills Preserve project proposed by Salt Development, which includes a multi-residential housing plan off Santa Ana Canyon Road near the Festival Center, there is a community meeting at 6 p.m. tonight, Sept. 7, at the East Anaheim Community Center on Santa Ana Canyon Road and Roosevelt.
This meeting is hosted by the city of Anaheim to discuss how this project will affect environmental issues such as traffic, fire and evacuation impacts for the Hills area. City staff is interested in hearing from residents as they develop an environmental impact report.

Members of the Anaheim Hills Women’s Club will host an Autumn Welcome Luncheon at 11 a.m. on Sept. 20 at the Anaheim Hills Golf Course following the summer break. And all women in the community are invited.
