The final curtain had barely fallen on the limited run of “Rogers: The Musical” at Disney California Adventure before Disneyland was already teasing a possible return of the Marvel show on the Hyperion Theater marquee.
“That’s the thing about endings … they can be rewritten,” read the mysterious marquee teaser that went up during the busy Labor Day Weekend shortly after the final performance of “Rogers: The Musical” on Aug. 31.

Disneyland has not made any official announcements about future dates for “Rogers: The Musical” or plans for the now dark Hyperion Theater.
Before the show’s closure, Disneyland officials said the limited-time engagement of “Rogers: The Musical” at the Hyperion Theater would not be extended at this time.
While some entertainment at the Disneyland resort returns after an initial run, others open and close as dedicated limited-time offerings, according to Disneyland officials.
“We think the likelihood of Rogers showing up again somewhere in the Disney universe is pretty high,” according to MiceChat. “This is the perfect size show for one of Disney’s cruise ships, another Disney park or even a limited-time run at Disneyland.”

Disney Live Entertainment spent six months preparing for the two-month run of “Rogers: The Musical” that began in late June.
The Marvel musical was the first show in the mothballed theater following a three-year hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic closure of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. The Hyperion has been home to shortened one-act versions of “Frozen,” “Aladdin” and “Blast” since the theater opened with the park in 2001.
