The Rams continued to add to their offensive line on the opening day of the NFL’s legal tampering period, agreeing to a deal with Pro Bowl guard Jonah Jackson, according to a source.
The deal will be worth $51 million with $34 million guaranteed across three years, according to an NFL Network report. The contract cannot officially be completed until the start of the league year on Wednesday.
Jackson comes to the Rams after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Lions. The former third-round pick was selected to the Pro Bowl following the 2021 season. In 2023, he allowed two sacks and 17 quarterback hurries.
It’s the second major three-year investment the Rams have made at guard this off-season after re-signing right guard Kevin Dotson last week.
