The NCAA Tournament’s first round begins Thursday morning for men’s basketball teams. The only Los Angeles area school to qualify is Long Beach State, a winner of the Big West Tournament and a No. 15 seed, taking on No. 2 Arizona Thursday at 11 a.m.
