The current Ducks’ Fathers Trip brought back an unforgettable family experience involving Ryan Strome and his mother Trish.

Strome’s father Chris is on this trip, which started on Friday and will continue through Sunday in Las Vegas when the Ducks face the Golden Knights. “I think he’s been on at least five or six trips, so he’s done well,” Strome said.

Additionally, goaltender Anthony Stolarz suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday’s game at Chicago and is considered day-to-day, which required the recall of goaltender Olle Eriksson Ek from their AHL affiliate in San Diego. Eriksson is 1-9-0 with the Gulls, with a 4.79 goals-against average and a .851 save percentage.

Ordinarily, goaltender Lukas Dostal would have been the obvious recall but Dostal was…
