Pasadena City College will host all four LA City Section Open Division semifinal basketball games Saturday.
In the girls semifinals, Westchester (27-1) will face Crenshaw (20-6) at 1 p.m. and top-seeded Granada Hills (24-4) will face King/Drew (16-13) at 2:30 p.m..
In the boys semifinals, Taft (19-10) will face Westchester (20-9) at 5:30 p.m. and Birmingham (20-8) plays Fairfax (18-10) at 7 p.m.
The boys bracket experienced some drama when No. 1-seeded Narbonne fall to Westchester 60-56 in the opening round.
MORE PLAYOFF ACTION SATURDAY
In the CIF Southern Section Open Division girls basketball playoffs, Sierra Canyon (2-0 in pool play) will take on Sage Hill (2-0) in Pool A at home Saturday at 7 p.m. to decide which team will play in the final Feb. 25 at the Honda Center.
Etiwanda (2-0) and Mater Dei (2-0) will face off in Pool B Saturday night for the other berth in the Open final.
In other CIF-SS girls basketball action Saturday, Chaminade will travel to Orange Lutheran for a Division 1 semifinal that starts at 6 p.m. Hart is at San Juan Hills in the Division 2AA semifinals at 6 p.m. Village Christian is hosting Leuzinger in the Division 2A semifinals at 7 p.m. Campbell Hall is at Chino in the Division 3A semis at 6 p.m. Oakwood will travel to Laguna Beach for a Division 4A semifinal (6 p.m.) and Oak Park is at West Valley High in the Division 5A semifinals (7 p.m.).
BOYS SOCCER
Agoura will host a CIF-SS boys soccer Division 2 semifinal against San Clemente on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The Chargers defeated Downey 3-1, Cajon 2-1 and Oxnard Pacifica 2-1 to reach the semis.
