Warming is expected to continue today and Wednesday over the southern California region. It will be sunny skies today, and while the maximum temperatures along the coast will be several degrees below normal, in the valleys and interior they’ll be four to eight degrees above normal.

Highs will be in the mid-70s to lower-80s from the beaches to downtown Los Angeles, the mid-80s to around 90 in the San Fernando Valley, the lower-to-mid-80s in the San Gabriel and Antelope valleys and the mid-80s in the Santa Clarita Valley. Air quality will mostly be in the moderate range.
Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week. The coasts will end up in the 70s while the valleys will warm into the 80s and lower 90s. According to the National Weather Service, despite the warm weather, low clouds and fog may return to some coastal areas over the next few days.
