Photos: WWE stars enjoy day with veterans, kids in advance of Wrestlemania in Inglewood

Sports entertainers from World Wrestling Entertainment visited various community centers on Wednesday, March 29, inspiring smiles from veterans, young people and pro wrestling fans in general. The grapplers were stirring up high spirits in advance of the weekend’s Wrestlemania 39 event at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

In Inglewood, wrestlers “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley and Lacey Evans, along with TV host Cath Kelley, enjoyed a BBQ with veterans at the U.S. Vets Housing and Resource Center.. Later, in Los Angeles, Evans and retired WWE Hall of Famer Titus O’Neil joined wrestlers Carmella, Liv Morgan and Xavier Woods, along with TV host Alicia Taylor, at a Boys and Girls Club of America Be A STAR Rally at the Boys and Girls Club of Metro L.A.

WrestleMania, the world’s largest annual professional wrestling pay-per-view and livestreaming event, will pack Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium on Saturday and Sunday. Millions will be watching live on Peacock TV. It’s the first time the mammoth scripted sports spectacular has landed in the L.A. area since 2004. The jam-packed weekend includes five wrestling shows, including the two-night main event, plus a giant merch market and various other activities.
