Alphonso King, 47, of the Los Angeles area, was arrested Tuesday in Inglewood on a warrant for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, according to Sgt. Ron Salary of the Torrance Police Department.
King was being held on $1 million bail and was scheduled to appear in court in Torrance on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
He also faces possible charges of elder abuse and robbery, police said.
The crime occurred on July 29 near the 2200 block of 190th Street, according to Salary, who declined to release information on the gender of the alleged victim.
