R&B superstar Beyoncé announced the first round of dates for her Renaissance World Tour. The outing is the singer’s first solo tour in six years and in support of her latest, Grammy-nominated album, “Renaissance.”
The North American leg of the jaunt, which so far has revealed one stop in the Los Angeles area at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sept. 2, is using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program to help get the tickets into the hands of BeyHive members starting on Monday, Feb. 6. Fans can register for the program at beyonce.livenation.com.
Following Ticketmaster’s issues with the Taylor Swift Eras Tour on-sale, the Verified Fan registration will close at different times based on city to avoid a flood of fans trying to purchase tickets in all of the markets all at once.
There’s also several presale options including a Citi cardmembers presale, who will have first access to the Verified Fan process, and the Verizon Up presale, exclusively for Verizon customers.
Back in 2018, Beyoncé delivered epic headlining performances during both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio in April and hit the road with her husband, rapper Jay-Z, on their joint On the Run II Stadium Tour, which sold-out Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena in September.
Beyoncé is currently leading the pack of nominees at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, which will take place Sunday, Feb. 5 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
She’s up for nine awards and is currently tied with Jay-Z for the most Grammy nominations by any single musician. She’s nominated for “Be Alive” from the “King Richard” film and the single “Break My Soul” is up for song and record of the year, as well as best dance/electronic recording. If she wins four of those trophies, she will officially become the most Grammy-winning artist of all time, surpassing classical conductor Georg Solti.
