Music Center’s Dance DTLA: Have fun learning new dance steps when expert dance instructors provide dance lessons and DJs spin the tunes, 7-11 p.m. on Fridays through Aug. 18. Salsa, 7-11 p.m. June 30. Lessons are free. No dancing experience required. Food and beverages will be available for purchase (no outside food or drink allowed). Fourth of July Family Parade: Parade line-up, 9:30 a.m. July 4 (coffee and donuts for purchase from LA Donut truck, 8 a.m.); parade begins 9:45 a.m. from 4415 Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village. The low-key parade, with red, white and blue decorated people, bicycles, strollers and wagons (no motorized vehicles), proceeds on Agoura Road to Berniece Bennett Park, 31800 Village Center Drive.
