Friends of the LA River Great LA River CleanUp: The group is holding its 33rd annual event on two dates and seven sites along the 51-miles of the Los Angeles River. Register for a river cleanup, 8 a.m. April 15, in the Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex (6115 Balboa Blvd., Van Nuys).
