The Tournament of Roses — some come for the football but others for the marching bands. Bandfest, a musical affair hosted by the Tournament of Roses and Southern California drum manufacturer Remo Inc., spans two days and offers three shows. Each showtime will host seven to nine units from all over the nation that will perform their award-winning field shows.

The energetic musicians, dancers and auxiliary performers will take to the Robinson Stadium stage at Pasadena City College before enduring the 5-1/2-mile march down Colorado Boulevard for the Rose Parade on Jan. 1.
