Rep. Judy Chu, D-Pasadena, will host a free health fair on Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center.
Organizations such as Huntington Health, the Hear Center, Pacific Clinics, Pasadena Village, among others, will be on hand to provide attendees with health and hearing screenings and information on Medicare health plans.
Celebrating the 14th anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act, Chu will also update attendees on legislation strengthening the health care system, the Social Security system and Medicare.
The Senior Center, located at 85 E. Holly St., is a donor-supported nonprofit, operating without any local, state or federal funding to provide older adults services with opportunities for social interaction, fitness programs, basic support and needs services, education, volunteerism and community activism.
