Customers at Dave’s Hot Chicken can get free sliders on Thursday, Oct. 24 as a gift from the rapper Drake, one of the chain’s investors.
The promotion marks Drake’s 38th birthday. The Pasadena-based chain did similar promotions in 2022 and 2023, as it pointed out in an Instagram post.
The offer is good for app users in-store only, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on that date, according to a news release from the Pasadena-based chain.
Dave’s was founded in 2017 as a pop-up in an East Hollywood parking lot. Since it began franchising in 2019, the chain has grown rapidly. It has sold rights for more than 1,000 franchise locations in the United States, Canada and the Middle East, the press release said.
Dave’s has a short menu with chicken tenders, chicken bites, sliders and sides.
