Check out these limited-time ‘Wicked’ food, merchandise and events

The Broadway sensation is hitting the big screen. That’s right, 20 years after it premiered in California and shortly thereafter made its way to New York, “Wicked” is coming to movie theaters across the globe. Part one of the film premieres on Nov. 22, with the second part set to come out Nov. 21, 2025.

As fans of the musical prepare for the release, there are quite a few limited-time offerings happening to promote the film, some of which are exclusive to Southern California.

Events

Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk has turned into a major hub for “Wicked” fans. The Los Angeles theme park has transformed its restaurant Hollywood and Dine into a dining destination for “Wicked” themed food. The menu includes 9 new food and drink options including an apple pie funnel cake and an Ozmopolitian cocktail. Inside the park there is also an exclusive “Wicked” photo op in the main walkway area.

There are two merch stores for “Wicked” gear, the Feature Presentation store in the Production Plaza area at Universal Studios Hollywood and UNIVRS store at Universal CityWalk Hollywood, located next door to the Hello Kitty and Friends Cafe. The collection includes Elphaba and Glinda themed merchandise as well as Shiz University. Additionally, the Feature Presentation store will be showcasing props from the film.

Southern California is also on the list for the “Wicked” Weekend in-store listening parties happening Nov. 22-24. There are three Southern California music stores that will be participating, DBZ Books N Records in Corona, Spinning Plate Records in Covina and Midnite Moon in Idlyllwild. Fans who attend these listening parties are encouraged to wear pink and green attire. There will also be free giveaways for those who attend.
