Tournament of Roses Decorating Places: Preview Rose Parade floats as they get ready for the 135th annual parade, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 28; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 29-30. Admission is by time; $20; free for ages 5 and younger. Admission is sold online only (purchase here: tinyurl.com/47ar7duv) Parking is free and there is a designated Lyft and Uber drop off and pick up spot. Rosemont Pavilion, 700 Seco St., Pasadena. Viewing Stones show: The California Aiseki Kai presents its 34th annual show featuring examples of suiseki and other viewing stones, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 28-30. Free with Huntington admission. Timed tickets for the Huntington are required on Friday-Sunday. Admission $29; $24 ages 65 and older and students; $13 ages 4-11. Equestfest: Meet the horses and riders who take part in the Jan. 1, 2024 Tournament of Roses Parade, stroll by the stables, talk to equestrians, activities, view displays, food and vendor court and activities, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 29. The show performance, noon-2 p.m. Tickets $25; free for ages 5 and younger; $50 for VIP reserved seats and other perks (all ages, including ages 5 and younger, need a ticket for VIP seating area).
