Here is a sampling of things to do in the San Fernando Valley and the greater Los Angeles area.

Great Delano Barnyard Egg Hunt: Spring event with an egg hunt, contests, games and jumpers, 3-6 p.m. April 11. For ages 2-14. Bring a basket. Delano Recreation Center, 15100 Erwin St., Van Nuys. 818-756-8529. Details on the flyer: tinyurl.com/54br8pf2

Granada Hills Recreation Center: Event includes arts and crafts, contests, games, jumpers, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 12. Egg hunts are timed by age: ages 0-2 at noon; ages 3-5 at 12:10 p.m.; ages 6-7 at 12:20 p.m.; ages 8-9 at 12:30 p.m.; ages 10-12 at 12:40. Bring a basket. Springfest Family Festival – Shadow Ranch Recreation Center: The annual event includes activities, entertainment, games and egg hunts, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 12. Location, 22633 Vanowen St., West Hills. 818-883-3637. Event flyer: tinyurl.com/yvbbst7m

Spring Jubilee – County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation: Celebration of springtime with activities that include egg hunts, crafts, games, performances and food tasting, through April 19. Events include, 4-7 p.m. April 11 at El Cariso Park (13100 Hubbard St., Sylmar; 818-367-5043); and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. April 12 at Crescenta Valley Park (3901 Dunsmore Ave., La Crescenta; 818-249-5940).
