The 38th Los Angeles Marathon on March 19, sponsored by Asics, unfolds between its starting line at Dodger Stadium to its finish line in Century City, and numerous freeway ramps and streets will be closed.
The finish line has a slight change this year due to construction of a new Metro Station in Century City. Participants will not round the corner from Santa Monica Boulevard onto Avenue of the Stars, as in past years, but run across the finish line on Santa Monica Boulevard.
Here are the freeway ramps and street closures to be aware of on March 18-19. Motorists should anticipate delays, plan ahead and choose alternate routes.
