Community meetings bring people together for exchange of ideas and memorable shared experiences. Here’s a sampling of meetings and farmers markets in the San Fernando Valley.

 

July 31

Aug. 1

 

National Night Out – Mission Hills: Communities in the Los Angeles Police Department Mission Community Police Station host the event that includes meet-and-greet the senior lead police officers, public information displays, music by DJ Bobby Arias and food, 5-7 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. National Night Out – Panorama City: The event includes a meet-and-greet opportunity with officers from Los Angeles Police Department Mission Community Police Station, free refreshments, games and musical entertainment, 5-8 p.m. Plaza Del Valle courtyard, 8610 Van Nuys Blvd. Flyer: northhillseast.org/event/national-night-out-panorama-city

National Night Out – Westlake Village: The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station joins representatives from the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Malibu and Westlake Village for the event, 5-7 p.m. Meet-and-greet the station’s personnel, members of the Malibu Search and Rescue, mini-therapy horses plus live music and Kona ice refreshments.
