Atlas’ story: Atlas was found in the mountains in San Bernardino County and taken to a shelter, where he was scheduled to be euthanized. Two friends with a passion for saving animals took him from the shelter, and now RUFF Rescue, a nonprofit that helps people whose pets are in need of medical care, has taken on his cause. Atlas is a huge cuddle puppy who is undergoing training in Orange County. The trainers who are working with him describe Atlas as a great dog who would do best with an experienced adopter who can continue his learning. Atlas is current on vaccinations. He’s also crate-trained and doesn’t shed. He’s a sweet boy who loves people.
