South Coast Plaza already offers an eclectic array of stores to shop from; this weekend it adds plants and gardening to its collection.
The 33rd annual Southern California Spring Garden Show is open through the weekend, offering dozens of unique vendors, display gardens to inspire shoppers and an exhibition of fresh floral art.
A 25-foot floral centerpeice is a show stopper on the first floor of the Crate & Barrel/Macy’s Home Store wing, which is located across Bear Street.
The At Home in the Garden show is spread throughout the three levels of that wing. Along with the vendors, there are several nonprofits and horticulture groups participating.
A horticulturalist from the Sherman Library & Gardens will be giving tours of South Coast Plaza’s collection of specimen palm trees.
In the Jewel Court of the main mall, is the Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE exhibit, which features elaborately decorated mannequins and displays by local floral artists.
