Mike Barrera of Anaheim and Tesoro’s Tony Nieto will serve as the head coaches for the Orange County All-Star Baseball Game.
The game will be played June 6 at Glover Stadium in Anaheim.
Barrera led Anaheim to the CIF Southern Section Division 6 championship game last year. The Colonists lost to Estancia 2-1.
Nieto coached Tesoro to the CIF-SS Division 4 title last year.
Tesoro is in first place in the South Coast League going into Friday’s games. Anaheim is in third place in the Orange League.
The rosters will be announced later.
Admission to the game is $10. First pitch is 7 p.m.
The game is organized and managed for charity by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Anaheim.
