Here is a peek at how much rain fell across Orange County during the recent storms that bracketed New Year’s 2024.
The map reflects rainfall stats collected by OC Public Works at 58 sites countywide for the week ended Thursday, January 4, at 6 a.m.
The median rainfall of the 58 measurements was 0.69 inches. The rainiest spots:
- Salt Creek at 1.3 inches.
- Upper Harding Canyon at 1.1 inches.
- Laguna Niguel Park at 1.06 inches.
- Lower Oso Creek at 0.98 inches.
- Coto De Caza at 0.98 inches.
- Newport Coast at 0.94 inches.
- San Juan Guard at 0.9 inches.
- Pico Retarding Basin-San Clemente at 0.9 inches.
