A chunk of Camp Snoopy is already behind construction walls as Knott’s Berry Farm prepares for an extensive makeover of the Peanuts-themed kiddie land that could include a new family coaster when the dust finally settles on the 2024 project.
“We are excited about plans in the works for Camp Snoopy,” according to Knott’s officials. “For now, all we can say is ‘Happiness is … a fun new project.’”

The Timberline Twister roller coaster and Camp Bus magic carpet ride are permanently closed while Woodstock’s Airmail drop tower will be relocated following a temporary closure, according to Knott’s officials.
A new family coaster is expected to replace the Timberline Twister kiddie coaster, according to Screamscape.
The Timberline Twister was the first roller coaster experience for generations of Knott’s riders during the past four decades. The 1983 Bradley and Kaye Little Dipper coaster climbed to a height of 30 feet before taking riders on a twisting and dipping course over 480 feet of track, according to Roller Coaster Database. Each ride came to end with the help of a manual hand brake.

The Camp Snoopy renovation is expected to be the key capital investment project at Knott’s for the 2024 season, according to Screamscape.
Knott’s is expected to make a detailed announcement about the Camp Snoopy project on Oct. 24.
