CIF Southern Section boys soccer championship teams JSerra and Orange Lutheran are seeded No. 1 in their divisions for the CIF Southern California Regional tournament.
Another CIF-SS champion Orange County team, San Clemente, is seeded No. 2 in its CIF SoCal Regional division.
Southern California Regional play begins Tuesday at host-school sites. Games are scheduled for 5 p.m. but can be changed to another time if both schools agree to the change and the CIF State office approves it.
CIF-SS Division 1 champion JSerra (17-1-1) is home against Ridgeview (19-2-3) in Round I. JSerra beat Sunny Hills on Saturday in the CIF-SS Division 1 final. Sunny Hills (22-1-3) plays at San Dieguito Academy (20-3-4) in a Division I Round I game Tuesday.
Orange Lutheran (17-6-2), CIF-SS Division 4 champion, is home Tuesday against La Jolla Country Day (17-4-2) in Division IV.
CIF-SS Division 2 champion San Clemente (13-3-8) is home Tuesday against Poway (15-4-3).
Other Regional Round I games involving Orange County boys soccer teams: Division III, Newport Harbor (16-5-4) at Point Loma (10-10-2), Pioneer Valley (14-4-7) at El Dorado (19-3-3) and Palisades (10-3-5) at Los Alamitos (17-7-3); and Division V, Oxford Academy (17-7-4) at Lompoc (11-9-4).
The Regional tournament continues Thursday with semifinals and concludes Saturday with finals.
