The Lake Forest Golf Course was all aglow Saturday night, Feb. 10, for its annual Winter Glow Ball event.
As night fell, the golf course underwent a magical transformation into a “glowy” winter wonderland. Across nine holes, participants used glow-in-the-dark golf balls to navigate the course.
Alongside a plethora of glowsticks, guests were given exclusive Lake Forest Golf Shop merch, hot chocolate and s’mores to accompany their night. Prizes were awarded to the best glow-themed winter attire and the winner of the “glow-in-the-dark” putting contest.
“This is my second big event after recently becoming the general manager in July, and I have so much fun planning and putting them on with my director of Instruction and Events, Jenny Ho,” said Dave Brown. “My staff and I have been working hard to make the Lake Forest Golf and Practice Center a beautiful and fun place to play and practice with family and friends.”
The event was originally slated to take place a week earlier, on Saturday, Feb. 3, but due to rainy conditions, it was postponed to this weekend.
