Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva jumped to an early lead in the Assembly District 67 race in initial returns released Tuesday night following the close of polls.
Three candidates are running in Assembly District 67, which covers Los Angeles and Orange counties, including parts of Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton and La Palma.
After Tuesday’s primary election, only two will move forward the general election in November.
