Disneyland launched the inaugural Disney Junior kids festival geared toward 2-to-7-year-olds in April 2022 at a different time of year and under a slightly different name. Highlights of this year’s event on Aug. 18 at DCA include a Playdate Party Parade with Disney Junior characters, a “Disney Junior Live Playdate” stage show at the Hollywood Backlot Stage and the world-premiere of the new Disney Junior TV series “Playdate with Winnie the Pooh.”
The Playdate Play Zone will offer meet-and-greet opportunities with Doc McStuffins, Vampirina and other Disney Junior characters.
