A heavy rainstorm fueled by a seemingly endless series of “atmospheric rivers” has forced Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain to once again shut their gates and Disneyland to close early due to the relentless bad weather.
Disneyland moved up its closing time on Tuesday, March 21 from midnight to 11 p.m., according to the Disneyland app.
Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain closed on Tuesday, March 21 due to the rain, according to the parks’ social media accounts. Select California Marketplace shops outside the Knott’s front gate will be open until 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Knott’s and Magic Mountain have closed repeatedly on rainy days since December when a string of “atmospheric rivers” began pummeling Southern California with one rain storm after another. Disneyland has quietly closed early on rainy days that diminish crowds at the Anaheim theme park.
Legoland California typically offers a “Rainy Day Promise” that allows visitors to return within a year when storms ruin the day.
Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Universal Studios Hollywood, SeaWorld San Diego and Legoland California remained open despite the rain showers throughout Southern California.
