A “Recycle Saturday” sponsored by the Knights of Columbus at San Antonio Catholic Church is scheduled from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 6 for collecting CRV containers including glass, bottles and cans.
Those wishing to participate in the recycling event, can drop off their CRV marked beverage containers in the church’s south parking lot off Solomon Avenue. The recycling fundraiser will help the Knights provide needed assistance to various charitable organizations. Some of which include: Thomas House, Mary’s Kitchen and Grandma’s House of Hope, which aid the homeless and those in need.

Mark the new year with the Women’s Connection
The Anaheim Hills, Orange and Villa Park Women’s Connection is extending an invitation to all women in the community to its New Year’s Celebration luncheon on Jan. 8 at the Black Gold Golf Club.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for socializing and participating in a holiday silent auction consisting of women’s fashion accessories. Luncheon and program follow at 11:30 a.m.
Vocal talent Julie Fullerton will provide the afternoon entertainment. A special program presentation by America’s Christian Credit Union will offer important ways to protect your assets and essential information about fraud prevention. And, guest speaker Karon Kanadjian will share why “My Life is Like a Roadmap: My Journey from Fear to Faith.”
Guests are encouraged to wear a favorite bling outfit and join in the fun and festivities as well as raffle and opportunity drawings. The day concludes at 1:30 p.m.
