The Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade is getting ready for its 100th year celebration.
Plans are big and include a Halloween-themed beer festival on Oct. 7, new exhibits and a history of Halloween exhibit at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center.
The Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 23 on the Center Street Promenade and will include an old-fashioned Halloween carnival, local artists, live music, magic shows, kiddie and doggie costume contests, float decorating, kids crafts and much more.
The group needs more help working on the floats and parade’s organization. Visit anaheimfallfestival.org and sign up as a volunteer or donate to help fund this community effort.
The 100 year commemorative T-shirt is also available online at the site.
A documentary of the parade’s history is also being created and the group is still looking for vintage home movies, memorabilia or photos. Call Helen Myers at 714-309-7639 with questions and contact the group at [email protected].
