Don’t miss the ribbon cutting this week celebrating the opening of the new Anaheim High track & field facility.
Work is complete at Anaheim High and its new track & field area is beautiful and ready for youth sports. The district has built for the school a professional-grade all-weather track, a synthetic turf field, dedicated areas for track and field events and field space for soccer games and football practices.
There is now seating for about 1,000 people, which is designed to host CIF competitions.
The area will be dedicated during a ceremony on 4 p.m. on Jan. 8. Be sure to come by.
