Don’t miss the Anaheim Ballet’s Summer Intensive Concert for the community on July 21.
The dancers will be performing “Chopiniana,” which is also known as “Les Sylphides,” in a free 6:30 p.m. show at the Pearson Park Amphitheatre, 401 N. Lemon St.
This performance is bringing poetry to life, described Larry Rosenberg, executive director of the Anaheim ballet school, and features the iconic “Chopiniana,” along with short works in hip hop, modern, character, tap and more.
Students from around the world, across the country and Orange County visit the Anaheim school for the summer intensive.
You may bring an original short poem to submit prior to the performance and it may be chosen to be read aloud as part of the “Putting Poetry Back into Life” campaign. For more information visit anaheimballet.org.
