The city’s Active Older Adult Program will be hosting a health and resource expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 20 at the Downtown Anaheim Community Center.
This will be a great opportunity for those who are Medicare eligible to speak with a variety of health care and community resource providers. There will be health screenings, class demonstrations and more. There is no cost.
Also, the Anaheim Senior Citizens Club will be hosting its annual craft boutique and bake sale.

Library fun in April
Get gardening tips and enter the fantasy world this month at Anaheim library events.
On April 14, at the Anaheim Central Library there will be a Master Gardening Series, “The Busy Gardener” program at 2 p.m.
The series is being hosted in collaboration with the Master Gardeners of Orange County on the second Sunday of each month, offering tips, best practices and more for all gardening needs.
Also, on April 20, the Canyon Hills Library branch is offering “Open House: Dungeons & Dragons” from noon to 4 p.m. for ages 14 to 17.
And, comics and sci-fi fans will be taking over the Central Library, with an afternoon of graphic novelists, authors, panels, workshops and more planned for AnaCon, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 27.
Special guest Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr will speak. Enjoy a superhero storytime, crafts, food and test your sci-fi knowledge the trivia program to win prizes.

Show off West Anaheim resource fair planned
A first time event is coming to West Anaheim on April 20 at Maxwell Park on Broadway.
The day promises entertainment, kids’ activities and a variety of activities spotlighting the West Anaheim resources. There will also be food trucks.
