October is Adopt a Shelter Dog month, so Dedicated Animal Welfare Group is sponsoring adoptions for seven long-term residents at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center for $20 each.
The shelter says these dogs have been residents for too long, and the members of DAWG, the shelter’s volunteer group, hope this special rate helps find great homes for them.
The dogs:
Lily is a 5-month-old, spayed, female shepherd mix
Mekka is a 3-year-old, neutered male Lab-shepherd mix
Whisper is a 4-year-old, spayed female Siberian husky
Panthro is a 2-year-old, neutered male Lab mix
Mack is an 11-month-old male pit bull terrier
Porter is a 1-year-old, neutered male shepherd mix
Jasmine is a 4-year-old female Dutch shepherd mix
Adoption procedure: Application and screening of potential adopters is required to ensure they are the right fit. Visit the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest, Mission Viejo; call 949-470-3045; or email [email protected]. More information on these and other dogs in need of homes can be found online.
