In a few days, the attractions, games and food stalls at the OC Fair will be packed up until next year.
While it may be nearing the end of its 23-day run, the fair is not winding down. There’s still much to do and see — so check out these 10 fan favorites.
Riding the Ferris wheel and Sky Ride
The OC Fair doesn’t disappoint when it comes to its rides. Between high thrillers to the more easygoing, the fair has something for everyone. However, one can never go wrong with the classic Sky Rider and La Grande Wheel XL, the big Ferris wheel that can be seen from the 55 Freeway.
This is the perfect way to take in all the sights and sounds at the fair. And it’s extra beautiful if you take a ride at sunset.
Kidland
Got kiddos? The OC Fair has something for folks of all ages to enjoy. If you have little ones, be sure to make a stop at Kidland which boasts over 25 rides and eight different carnival games.
The rides in Kidland vary from mellow to hair-raising. For something more on the chill side, take your little one on a spin in Pelican Splash, a water log ride that has one small drop that’s sure to cause a splash. If the kid in your life is a mini thrill seeker, Silver Streak is a bumpy ride that spins around at high speed.
If rides aren’t your kid’s thing, there are lots of carnival games designed for them to win prizes like Peppa Pig or Elmo plushes.
Concerts
For music lovers, the OC Fair hosts a variety of concerts from all kinds of genres.
