While chainsaw-wielding monsters are still running amok at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, the theme park is already planning out less bloody holiday fare.
Christmas in the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will return and soon all of Whoville will be out to once again celebrate Grinchmas inside the Universal Plaza. The festivities are included with theme park admission and begin on Friday, Nov. 24 and run daily through Monday, Jan. 1.
Inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, discover the joys of the season as you sing along to carols with the Frog Choir and become immersed in the holiday spirit as you’re surrounded by festive décor that will envelop the shops in Hogsmeade Village. Duck into the Three Broomsticks for a hearty holiday meal and sip on the seasonal favorite, hot Butterbeer. At night, experience The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, a light projection show with music from the “Harry Potter” film series and holiday imagery.
Grinchmas will include photo ops with The Grinch and his dog Max. There will be story times with Cindy-Lou Who, musical performances by the Who-Bee Doo-Wops, a craft area, several seasonal sweet treats and beverages for sale and the nightly lighting of the 65-foot-tall Grinchmas Tree with a snow flurry finish.
Tickets start at $109 for single-day and $149 for two-day general admission; $199 for Universal Express; $369 for the VIP Experience. All passes can be purchased at universalstudioshollywood.com.
